The Committee on Banking & Insurance moved to amend the bill on page 7, section 33-3-14a, line 10, after the second use of the word “the”, by striking the words “state fund”;

And,

On page 7, section 33-3-14a, line 10, after the word “That”, by striking the words “each year, the first $833,000 of the portion of taxes received by the commissioner from insurance policies for medical liability insurance as defined in section three, article twenty-f of this chapter and from any insurer on its medical malpractice line, shall be temporarily dedicated to replenishing moneys appropriated from the tobacco settlement account pursuant to subsection (c), section two, article eleven-a of chapter four of this code”.
